The year 2013 would mark the end of a story but the start of a new beginning. Formally known as The Gooniees, a Southern California duo we have all grown to love was coming to a split. Robert began (his music career) in the year 2008, forming a duo with his childhood friend Levi. They quickly gained love and respect among the house music scene in their hometown of San Bernardino. Later that year they got offered a residency at Southern California’s biggest all age club, Gotham City in the Inland Empire.

During the next couple of years, Robert found himself playing not only all over California but also in states such as Hawaii, Arizona, and Colorado. No one expected his success to have grown as much and as rapidly as it did but Robert’s passion and dedication led him to have many opportunities through out his career. He was given the opportunity to share the stage with and also open up for some of the most respectable names in the industry. Playing alongside artist like Dash Berlin, Markus Schulz, DJ Blend, and Alvaro, just to name a few, are some of the best memories and highlights of his career thus far.

Every book must come to an end, so they say. Music will forever be pushing boundaries and a new sound will always be the next new trend. Robert’s musical knowledge and taste had evolved which later led both artists to split and Robert began his individual career. The year 2013 would mark the end of great memories and a new beginning.


After a year of time off, 2015 would be the start of a whole new concept and a fresh new sound. Being influenced by and attracted to tribal, latin, and tropical sounds, Robert brought all these together to mix into a solid base of house and electro and TRVESO was born.
