Synthetic Waterfall

A band which exists with an undying wish to express darker feelings trough a multi-influenced musical project. That is what Synthetic Waterfall is and will remain. Formed in 2007 near Paris, France by Timo Virmavirta (guitar, vocals, composing), Donovan Raynal (bass, arranging) and Olivier Marechal (guitar, arranging), Synthetic Waterfall was nothing more than this young Metal band influenced by "badass metal icons and guitar heroes". The band recorded its first demo CD “Rising of the Aeon” in 2009, mostly influenced by the northern European Melodic Death Metal vein. Through the years, the project matured, bringing the members to reconsider its sights and orientations. Influences started to widen, slowly the band abandoned this “Melodeath” background and found its feet through darker patterns. The band entered the studio with those new resolutions and came out with an EP called “Inside the Different” in 2011. Synthetic Waterfall is currently working on pushing even further the limits of the EP for its first full-length album that should be expected to come out in year 2015. Atmospheric Metal
