Hypothesis

Hypothesis were formed in mid 2010 and played their first live performance in Jan 2011. Hypothesis features female and male lead vocals as influenced initially by Lacuna Coil. Much has happened in the life of Hypothesis in the couple of years since, including a few line up changes, but the current line up is probably at the strongest it has ever been. The band were signed by Ravenheart Music in late 2011 and to date have released ‘New Best Friend’ EP and latest single ‘One More’. Hypothesis have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Alestorm, Heavens Basement, Jettblack, Beholder, Marseille, Sondura, Bull Riff Stampede, Six Hour Sundown along with a whole host of other fantastic artists and have now almost reached the 100 gig milestone. The live shows have been described as ‘energetic, spirited and adventurous’, ‘a band that must be seen live’, ‘enough energy to have lit the entire city up’. Hypothesis have had the pleasure of amassing endorsement deals with Fernandes and BC Rich Guitars, Dean Markley Strings, Roland/Boss, Coffin Case, Ashdown Engineering, New Rock Boots and Punk Rave Clothing. The band are managed by Metal Ted Music Management and bookings can be made either via Metal Ted or with either Sam at Roar Rock or Vinnie at Two Bucks Productions. The current line up is Tess McTigue on vocals, Carl Foster on vocals, Benji Leese on lead guitar, Seb Silvers on rhythm guitar, Jamie Vann on bass guitar and Simon Whitney on drums. The band folded in September 2013 - but is about to announce a fresh line-up and future plans for 2014 and beyond.
