Moody Beach is Melissah Marie. Her melodies come from the depths of her musical memory box, a place she stores all her favourite sounds. From a pop samba to an overwhelming 80s synth -- Camp Moody pays homage to everything from surf bass to flamenco style hand claps.
With influences ranging from Roy Orbison and The Cure to Blondie and The Pixies, Moody Beach’s sound is lush and distorted. Weaving together dream-pop melodies, hazy guitar lines and enigmatic lyrics, Moody Beach serves up a transfixing new take on alt-indie-pop.
Mirage is the title of Moody Beach's sophomore EP. Acting as a time capsule, Mirage is a reflection of selves both future and past.
