Nick Muilaert

Nick Muilaert is a singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Chicago, Illinois. Raised up to always be open-minded to all music, Nick employs elements from many different genres, mixing alternative rock, neo-psychedelia and Americana with lucid rhythms and reverb-laden, surf rock/spaghetti western guitar lines that paint an atmospheric texture that complements the lyrics perfectly. Taking from the book of Mac Demarco, Nick performs all the instruments, produces and mixes everything on his records. To him, every song is a learning process that leads him further into one day recording the "perfect song". Nick's live performances are almost the complete opposite of his recorded music, as he makes sure to create a fun and experimental environment that "leaves the audience wanting more".
