About The Lost Angelos

Jackpine (formerly The Lost Angelos) is a rock band from Waterdown, Ontario, Canada. The group consists of Nik Hirst (keys, vocals, harp), Ryan Gaynor (drums, vocals), Max Boyko (guitar, vocals) and Dave Pearson (bass, vocals). Crafting their songs in a cozy wood cabin beneath the sway of a mighty Jack pine, the band creates a musical juxtaposition between old and new, rural and urban, and plays with energy and integrity. The band's rustic blues/roots sound draws heavily from 1970s artists, including The Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Allman Brothers Band, and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. In the summer of 2016, Jackpine tracked their debut EP (Lately-EP) at Helm Recording, and released it in May 2017 under their previous name.
