Doc Otis Band is a Voodoo Swamp Jazz, Steamboat Swing-Slathered, Horn Infused Odyssey. Distilled in the Lead-Laden Foothills of the Missouri Ozarks. Deep Fat Fried in a Vat of the Big Easy.

Doc Otis’s sound is a combined result of the insanely high lead contaminates every member of the band was subjected to from very early ages, coupled with experiences of sight and sound during the founding member's numerous lengthy trips to New Orleans to busk the streets and play many of the various venues in and around the French Quarter over the years. Combining the dark insanity of voodoo swamp jazz, an upbeat yet soot covered steamboat swing then, deep-fat-fried in a vat of the Big Easy, the Doc Otis Band creates their very own uniquely intense and danceable soundscape.
