Jamie Grey

Jamie Grey is a singer/songwriter from Redcar, a seaside town in the North East of England.

Jamie has been capturing people’s imagination with his emotionally driven, powerful vocal delivery coupled with his melodic, hooky songs. His style, predominantly through the use of acoustic guitar or piano, is at the core singer/songwriter, but he flirts with several genres including pop, folk, and soul. Jamie’s influences mean that his songs range in tempo and feeling; however, the common thread is always his emotional vocal style with raw lyrical nature.

His first independent release in 2019, a piano ballad ‘Arms Around You,’ was instantly picked up by the editorial playlist on Spotify ‘Sad Songs’. It stayed at the top of the playlist for 8 months, sitting next to the biggest sad song records in the world at the time. As a result, his very first release has amassed over 11 million streams so far on Spotify alone. Jamie has since released several songs, including his viral hit ‘What You’re Running From,’ which recently hit a whopping 20 million streams on Spotify alone. His loyal and growing fan base speaks for itself.

Jamie, in his words, has “lived in the studio” and is only now beginning to venture into the live space. He finished his first UK mini-tour in 2023, playing 3 sold-out dates in Birmingham, Manchester, and finishing at the 02 Academy2 in Islington, London.

His music thus far has now amassed over 50 million streams independently, and his debut album ‘Late Bloomer’ dropped in June of 2024.
