Stunning. Brilliant ensemble of musicians. Hannah Fisher on fiddle a stand out. Love Aragon Mill and Diamond Ring along with all puirt-a-beul.
March 29th 2019
Brilliant set with a thorough mix of songs from many sources, beautifully performed by Karen on her top form and seeming as cheerful as ever, accompanied by a talented live band made up of two guitarists (I am having brain blank on the guys' names & feel terribly guilty about it, but my memory sucks), a fiddler (Hannah Fisher, whose EP I came away with), and fellow Capercaillie alum Donald Shaw on keyboard & accordion. Very intimate and friendly in its atmosphere; I look forward to the next tour, I'm sure I will enjoy that just as much!
It was a great night, really good ,she was in great form ,amazing voice as usual
Superb concert, Karen’s voice is just a delight, with the added bonus of her supremely talented band accompanying her: Sorren MacLean, Hannah Fisher and Innes White. A privilege to be part of the audience.
Great music and lovely lady, who spent time chatting with the fans, posing for pictures and signing autographs afterwards. Thank you Karen. 🙂🖖
