Alicia Walter

Known for her “near-cosmic voice” (WIRED) and “stratosphere of songwriting all her own” (Consequence of Sound), Alicia Walter is a Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter, whose 2021 album, I Am Alicia (Sooper Records), garnered indie acclaim for “her wide-ranging stylistic journey” (Chicago Reader).

Throughout Right Noise (BIG EGO Records), her sophomore album, Walter has a penchant for singing directly to You— even as she centers herself as narrator— and her message glows with a positivity and encouragement that evokes a kind of sepia-toned optimism.
