Sada K. was born & raised in Kansas City. Growing up in a home where her mother sang at their local church every Sunday & her father sang with her at the grand piano in their home. These were inevitable factors that influenced not only her life, but her passion & calling. Volunteering & serving hurting people was a mainstay for her life as she witnessed her family giving to others from a love beyond what she could understand as a small child. This experience has become a clear window to her path & journey towards her purpose as she shares her spirit & music with others. It is her hearts desire to create music that gives people hope & provokes her listeners to be encouraged & persevere, no matter what they face in life. Sada K. is inspired by the world changers of classic soul music, creating a sound all her own writing songs about the beauty of life, love, growing pains and hope. Sada K. has shared the stage with many artist & entertainers such as Tye Tribbett, Mary Mary, Coffey Anderson, Sinbad & Brian Kennedy. She has opened for Hill Harper, actor, activist & author & performed with Tyler James Williams, star of Everybody Hates Chris. She has performed at the Day Star Network, JCTV, TBN, The Manhattan Theatre in New York City, The Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan, the Historic Gem Theatre in Kansas City, Missouri & many more venues. Sada K. recently closed out a 50 city tour, NY2LA, as one of the lead vocalists of the band, Press Play. Sada K. has embarked on her solo career by the release of an Acoustic EP entitled iHOPE: I Help Others Persevere Everyday, which reached the top 50 on the iTunes Christian Albums Charts. She is an artist that brings music & spirit to those who have lost hope & joy, to those who have been broken hearted, not just in music, but in her giving of herself with love & kindness. This project exhibits the depth & sultry sound of her voice bringing life to the dry places of those who need to find that safe place.
