Negative Ritual

NEGATIVE RITUAL est un groupe de metal gothique français formé en 2014 sous l'impulsion de Sarkasm (chant/programmation batterie). Rapidement rejoint par Requiem (guitares / basse / claviers) et Daeman (paroles), un premier EP 5 titres intitulé "Spectrum of the Past" est sorti l'année suivante, accompagné d'une vidéo pour la chanson "No More Effigies" et d'une tournée affichant une dizaine de dates. L'album reçoit des critiques très encourageantes de la presse spécialisée et le groupe continue de composer dans la foulée. Après un remaniement de line-up au cours de l'année 2016, qui fait aujourd'hui de Sarkasm et Daeman les deux seuls membres permanents du projet, NEGATIVE RITUAL choisit de collaborer avec Alexis du groupe Lyncelia, un groupe de rock gothique et coldwave de la région parisienne pour enregistrer son second EP 5 titres entre avril et juin 2017. Comme pour le premier EP sorti en 2015, le disque est entièrement financé par les membres du groupe mais, d'un point de vue technique, produit, mixé et masterisé sous la direction d'Alexis, qui a également enregistré les guitares, basses et claviers et a supervisé tous les arrangements dans son propre studio (Total Recording Studio), entre septembre et octobre 2017. En mars 2018, NEGATIVE RITUAL sort de son silence pour proposer un second EP au titre évocateur : Resurrection, afin de rappeler à tous que la bête est toujours vivante... ######## NEGATIVE RITUAL is a French gothic metal band formed in 2014 under the leadership of Sarkasm (lead vocals / drums programming). Quickly joined by Requiem (guitars / bass / keyboards) and Daeman (lyrics), a first EP 5 tracks entitled Spectrum of the Past was released the following year, accompanied by a video for the song "No More Effigies" and of a tour displaying a dozen dates. The album receives very encouraging reviews from the trade press and the band continues to compose in stride. After a reshuffle of line-up during the year 2016, that today makes Sarkasm and Daeman the only two permanent members of the project, NEGATIVE RITUAL chooses to collaborate with Alexis from the Lyncelia group, a gothic rock / coldwave band from the Paris region, to record his second EP 5 tracks between April and June 2017. As for the first album released in 2015 the disc is entirely financed by members of the group but, from a technical point of view, produced, mixed and mastered under the leadership of Alexis, who also recorded guitars, basses and keyboards and supervised all arrangements in his own studio (Total Recording Studio), between September and October 2017. In March 2018, NEGATIVE RITUAL comes out of its silence to offer its second EP 5 tracks with the evocative title : Resurrection, to remind everyone that the beast is still alive...
