What started out as a studio side project by Simple Citizens’ guitaristmulti-instrumentalist Judson McDaniel, Simple Citizens, David Moyer - TenorBaritone SaxFluteBass Clarinet, Orgone, including members of Breakestra, Emerging from the tight-knit Los Angeles funksoul community, Daniel Byers - TrumpetFlugelhorn, The RN sound is inspired, Connie Price the Keystones, Tonatiuh Hernandez - Percussion, realized and shaped by the city landscape and culture including the musicians that reside within. Thus giving the Nuggets an alternating cast of LA based players, soul-jazz and afro-funk music.
