About Black Vienna
Black Vienna is a Saskatoon based band, delivering explosive rock and roll fuelled with hard-hitting riffs, complex rhythms, and commanding vocals. Singer/guitarist Anthony Thoen, guitarist/bassist Trent Stuckel, guitarist/bassist Cam Eddolls, and drummer Jan Kwiatkowski throw it all on the table, drawing crowds with their eager rock and roll conduct, wild live performances, and thunderous sound. Influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin and recent rock idols Rival Sons, the band lives and breathes rock and roll, laying down one hell of a live show, every time.
The bands debut EP entitled ‘Show Me The Road’ (released under former band name Blackwater) packs a dirty-blues punch, and takes listeners on a rock and roll journey that tells a story. “These are classic-sounding songs that you can really rage to. I hear a bit of punk-rock in their music as well, and it makes sense because these guys are young, rebellious, and full of wild antics and energy, everything a rock and roll band should be.” – Chad Reynolds, TheRooster.ca. The band has shared the stage with Nazareth, Misfits frontman Michael Graves, The Pistolwhips, Close Talker, and The Dead South among many others. Playing countless shows in a growing number of venues, Black Vienna continues to gain larger audiences, play bigger events, and produce high-voltage, classic rock and roll.
