Clamor and Claw

The Clamor and Claw Sextet have come a long way from their jazz duo origins between founding members Lisa Hastings (lead vocals, banjolele) and Daniel Fiddler (guitar). Paul Brinnel on stride piano, Leo Peña on drums, Ed Sullivan on upright bass, and Stephen Bennet on accordion, trumpet & musical saw coalesce and swell the spirit that Hastings and Fiddler established. A jazzy dash of swing, sprinkling of whimsy, slathering of sultry, and a generous pounding of New Orleans stomp will keep you always guessing, toes a tapping. Clamor and Claw swing you deep in the belly of early era jazz, blues and folk, then pour all that tasty salt into their own original tunes of whimsy.
