About Undertheskin
Undertheskin takes you on an emotional journey through isolation, loneliness and fear of the inevitable.
Mariusz Łuniewski - multi-instrumentalist and vocalist responsible for the entire project - very efficiently incorporates pop elements into post-punk nostalgia of the 80s. Claustrophobic guitars combined with neo-post punk drive, reminiscent of The Soft Moon, penetrate the listener's skin, letting the wave of melancholy, well known to the fans of The Cure or Joy Division, carry them away.
The band was founded in 2015 and has released two well-received albums [undertheskin in 2016 and N E G A T I V E in 2019], which gained international recognition and resulted in a number of concerts and festivals in Europe [accompanied by, among others, The Soft Moon, Drab Majesty, Lebanon Hanover etc.].
In autumn 2020, the band released an EP End This Summer.
A new single Freezing Lights will be released in May 2023, announcing the arrival of the third undertheskin album.
