Avery Raquel

Canadian charting recording artist, Alternative Soul singer Avery Raquel has entertained professionally for over a decade. Avery recently released original music as part of an EP 'Scratching at the Surface'. Her prior self-titled release, the 4th solo album by this accomplished songwriter, debuted on the Canadian iTunes Top 200 RnB/Soul album chart at #5. Five tracks from that album were finalists in the John Lennon Song Writing Competition in 2022, with one winning the Grand Prize in the Pop category.

All of her original Alternative Soul is reminiscent of her love for RnB/Soul music but with a more contemporary style. Influenced by so many artists from the 70's to today, Avery’s created a soulful fun mix of RnB/Soul Funk and Pop, with a flavour of her Jazz, and Blues experiences.

Having recently returned from Europe where she performed, and completed her Master's Degree from Berklee College of Music, Avery continues to wow ever-growing audiences with her fresh style and powerful vocal performances, around the world including main-stage performing arts centres, renowned music festivals, club-style venues, and more.
