The King Stones

Acoustic and smoky blend of soul, folk and indie-reggae, “The King Stones” are Gabriella Reno and Samuele Vivian, born and raised respectively in Kingston, Jamaica and Venice, Italy. They write simple songs about the complexity of love, the interludes between lovers, lives and the roads that lead from playing it safe to putting it all on the line. Through engaging melodies and openhearted life stories, they infect any crowd with a powerful positive good feeling and the public often starts singing along even if they have never heard the songs before.



The singer, songwriter, and the solo guitarist met in June 2013 in Kingston (Jamaica) and immediately fell in love with the fusion of their music elements which led to an intense activity of songs co-writing, touring, and recording. In January 2014 they performed as supporting act for Toni Braxton and Chrisette Michelle in front of 30'000 people at the “Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival” during a Caribbean tour.



Immediately after that, it was announced that “Tallawah” and other Jamaican magazines had nominated the duo “Indie Reggae Sound” of the moment. In late March 2014 they released the hit song and video “Love you to Bumboclat" which is currently being aired by major Radios and TV stations throughout the Caribbean. After their intensive 2014 European tour they recorded “Round and Round”, the debut EP album, which will be released in Europe in 2015.
