About Captain Dangerous
Four-piece Captain Dangerous formed in late 2003 and went through a number of line-up changes before settling with Adam Clarkson (vocals/guitar), Miles Clark (guitar/vocals/trumpet/violin), Mark Houlgate (bass/vocals) and Ricky Dunn (drums).
Mark Riley of BBC 6Music described them as having "Outrageously catchy melodies". Over the last two years, the band has played with dozens of bands including The Hoosiers Dirty Pretty Things, The Rumble Strips, Mumm-Ra, The Blood Arm and The Magic Numbers.
With a single release deal from Synchronicity Records, Captain Dangerous released the debut single "You Could Be My" AKA "My fit girlfriend". Joe Dempsie from Channel 4's Skins appeared in the music video shot in Nottingham.
