BE1 is an international EDM band that mixes up the ElectroSynthpop sounds with Folktronica & Indietronica styles, which can be best described as an “Echo from the Future-New Kind of Vibe”. Founded in 2013 and inspired by a science fiction novel called “ZE-THER”, written by Atriana Reeves, who also embodies a character in the band derived from the book. The official launch of the book was done at the Montreal Book fair held from November 16th to the 21st BE1 then performed at a private party to celebrate the launch in front of a 100 fans. The band also created the official soundtrack of the book. The group consists of a talented pool of songwriters, musicians and the lead female Vocaliste “Macy Loana”, . As well as their “behind the scene” creative team composed of producers, music professionals and marketing specialists that extend from Canada, all the way across the border to Los Angeles, United Kingdom, Italy and Mexico. They’ve since been featured on some of the world’s most important and reputable EDM events with international DJ/Producer J Zuart, noticeably during the Electronic Daisy Carnival 2015 (EDC) tour and across Mexico with their hit collaboration “Time Machine” performed for over 40,000 spectators. MAS LABEL pushed the single during their promotional campaign gaining thousands of views on social networks and high visibility on media outlets such as EMPO Radio/TV, EXA Radio/TV as well as live play in the some of the biggest venues in Mexico during EMPO Nights (Electronic Meeting Point) tours. Soon after, another strong collaboration with DJ/Producer Alfred Beck called “City Lights” which was quickly picked up by the label Dammove / Sony Music Mexico and has been spinning in Mexico’s most popular clubs during Beck’s DJ tour in 2015 ** ALFRED BECK is on tour with Belinda Pop as her official DJ**. Other collaborations include “Amor” with Italian producers - Hitfinders & Felipe Romero, was selected for the Claw Summer Fest 2015 Vol 2 compilation. “One Day of Summer” – with Amos DJ & Vince Molina. 2016 has been good to BE1. “RU” is featured on House Factory 2016, one of the biggest House music compilations in North America, released in June 2016. The single "RU" can also be heard on Montreal Groove’s compilation. The song has also been added to the weekly rotation on Virgin IheartRadio on the MC Mario Saturday night party and Shazaamed by many. It is also featured on Radio Énergie on the DJ Pat NO. 2016 has been good to BE1. With the single Fly Away being a major collaboration with producers Ticli & Gas and the prestigious Italian label DANCE AND LOVE “Fly Away”– Ticli & Gas feat.BE1 Also with the Producers Ticli & Gas (Rino Ticlì and Gaspare Incatasciato) put together this international project with Colombian singer Andrè Felipe, Australian singer /songwriter Ray Isaac Ozzy and BE1, creating Universo; a track with an original sound performed in three languages: Spanish, French and English.“Universo” a worldwide collaboration with international artists have extended BE1’s reach to Europe.The song recently reached the 50k mark on YouTube. Currently #23 on the ITunes chart with the single #UNIVERSO BE1 recently signed with ILS-Caroline-Universal as upcoming artists the band has been hard at work preparing for the release of their upcoming EP co-produced by renowned Italian DJ/Producers TICLI AND GAS in march, releasing a new single Walk the Line on December 2nd along with the video. The song is already on rotation (CIGN96.7 & 94,7 hits FM), you can find it on tops chart #54, and has been getting major props by international DJ's. The band has recently been on a mini tour which brought them to perform at the renowned Club Circus for their illustrious “BAL EN BLANC 2016 edition” related event presented in Montreal. Next stop, June 18th, they performing at the AMFLY Electronic Music Festival. More than just a musical band, BE1 is dedicated to the creation of a new current of love in the world by spreading the essential values of peace, compassion, love and awareness about meaningful human causes by using the power of music to offer support to those who face and overcome trials in life to make this world a better place.
