Neglected Fear

In December 2008, Jonathan joined the band Matias had earlier as a vocalist. In that band there was a drummer and another guitar player and they played only covers for fun. As soon as Jonathan joined as a vocalist the band decided to split since the drummer was moving and the other guitarist lost his interest. This laid he foundation to Neglected Fear since Jonathan and Matias met and started hanging out more. Matias and Jonathan bored since they got no band and then came the brilliant idea from Matias that they should start record with Line 6 and Reaper some vocals and guitar. Then the beautiful two man band came up "Minor Epic Failure". After a while they thought that the songs got decent good and wanted to really start something new and different. They asked Johan if he wanted to join the band as a bass player, with no thinking he said yes immediately. Finding a drummer for this kind of genre in our region was kind of hard, we knew drummers but they were not good enough to play hardcore or just not interested in the hardcore sound. After a while, looking around on the youth website that was popular here around 2009 we found Ronny in May 2009. It said on his page that Killswitch Engage was his favorite band so we thought why not and asked him, and he was the final piece of the puzzle. We had our first rehearsal in September 2009, Neglected Fear was born. October 2009, studiotime. A live recording on "Die with a Smile", "The Joker", "Not a day for Sunshine" and "(SIC)". And the same week we had our first gig which we had in Jonathans house and around 20 people came for the show. December 2009, studiotime again to record "Confession" and "Sadistic Thoughts" but still we weren't happy with the outcome. In June 2010, new studio session at Test Music Studios in Vaasa. We won a band competition earlier which the grand prize was a 10 hour studio session. The outcome was the single "Until The End Of Time". Summer 2011 our full length EP was released, 10 tracked called "Birth Death and Resurrection. In September 2013 Neglected Fear announces its breakup.
