About Mangled

Mangled
Mangled
Mangled was formed in 1989, released two well received demos shortly thereafter ('Cadaverous' in '92 and 'Perish' in '93). In 1997 Wild Rags signed the band and went on to release Mangled's debut MCD 'In Emptiness.' In 1998 the band signed to Fadeless Records for the release of 'Ancient Times' which comprised all of their earlier material on CD format. 2000 marked a crucial turning point for Mangled as they signed to The Plague, a subsidiary of Hammerheart Records (now Karmageddon Media), for the release of their critically acclaimed 'Most Painful Ways' album which was released the following year in 2001. The band followed-up this release with extensive touring and in 2003 participated in the Violating Europe Tour which featured Vile, Spawn of Possession, Inhume, and Disavowed to great media/press. 2003 marked the release of 'Carnal Abhorrence' which was released by Fadeless Records on 7" format which featured two new songs as well as covers of Morbid Angel and Cannibal Corpse.

2005 marks the sixteenth anniversary of Mangled's existence as well as their signing to US based Deepsend Records for the release of 'Witness Disposal Program,' the band's most complete and virulent opus to date. With the help of the labe's worldwide exclusive distribution deal with Century Media, Mangled will once and for all garner the adoration they so rightfully deserve.
