Zeitgeist Zero produce a sensual mix of electronics, guitars and drums, intertwining passionate vocals with an intelligent lyrical sensibility. Combining guitars, electronics and visuals their unique sound and darkly glamorous style have received extensive and favourable press and radio coverage including BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio Leeds and BBC Introducing. Since 2003 the band have overseen a growing back catalogue of increasingly ambitious releases, from early home studio recordings to working with industry pros such as John Fryer (NIN, Depeche Mode) and John Rivers (The Specials, Ocean Colour Scene). The band’s four albums have met with international critical acclaim, with ‘Dead To The World’ and ‘The Blackout’ both being voted “Album of the Month” by popular German music magazine Dark Spy. Zeitgeist Zero inhabit their own carefully constructed and intriguingly strange world. Ploughing their own furrow, they traverse the boundaries of mainstream and alternative fashion. The band mix contemporary and vintage styling with blitz noir imagery and a dash of retro sex appeal, which features heavily in their music videos. Their recorded output is genre-stretching and playful, but it’s in the live arena where the band really explode into life. As seasoned and professional independent artists the band enjoys touring both the UK and Europe and has provided support for many acclaimed artists. Along with magazine and radio appearances the band have built a loyal following, leading to several headline festival appearances. Zeitgeist Zero’s latest album Ghosts of Victory was released after a successful crowd funding campaign raised over £4K in pre sales in just four weeks. The album was mixed by the legendary Steve Whitfield (The Cure, Terrorvision), who approached the band after hearing a track played on BBC Introducing and was mastered by John Dent (Goldfrapp, PJ Harvey).
