Forged from the ashes of Seattle stalwart rock outfits The Lookout and Out Like Pluto, STRNGRTHNGS is something completely new. Energetic, but moody; hard-hitting, yet atmospheric: STRNGRTHNGS melds dramatic stadium synth-rock sounds reminiscent of Muse and latter-day Nine Inch Nails with singer/guitarist Nick Emacio’s trademark alt rock melodies that would not be out of place on an Anberlin or Jimmy Eat World album. Drummer/producer Andy Tyra splits duty between foundational acoustic drum work and EDM rhythms worthy of The Faint or Depeche Mode. The group is rounded out by guitarist Logan Johnson and bassist/keyboardist Jeremy Hynoski, bringing anthemic riffs and low end grunt to the unique STRNGRTHNGS soundscape. STRNGRTHNGS is more than just a band. Their live show is a full audiovisual piece designed to deliver the brash and bold experience of a stadium show within the intimacy of Seattle’s small venues.
