Beautiful music, magic setting.

About Belle Miners
They toured together for the first time in 2014… Man and Minx, an Austral-Canadian folk-pop duo, and Marina Marina, Canadian folk singer-songwriter. But what started as two separate acts soon merged into one.
“The reaction we would get from audiences on last year’s tour was just amazing,” said Jaime (vocals, piano). “Marina would play, and everyone loved it. We (Man and Minx) would play and everyone loved it. But when all of us played together people were magnetically drawn in. It mesmerized them. Maybe it’s the three-part vocal harmony?”
They began to realize the potential for a trio whilst busking on tour.
"We would often busk during the day. It's a fun way to check out a community, and it helped us generate some pocket change towards the cost of touring," said Marina (vocals/guitar).
They had been trying to think of a good band name for a couple of weeks when:
"We were driving near Mullumbimby after a night of stealth camping in the bush when Jaime, being a complete bird nerd, suddenly pulled the car over and said 'shh! Listen! Bell Miners!'" recalled Felicia (vocals/guitar). "The otherworldly sound of these vagabond birds, like hundreds of bells filled the air. It was one of those magic moments."
Marina jumped on it, "The Belle Miners!! That's our name! Only Bell with an 'e'.. for ‘beautiful’."
The girls hit Australia’s shores once more in late January/early February to play a string of house concerts in NSW, Victoria and Tasmania to co-headline the Australian Wooden Boat Festival in Hobart. Plans are brewing for a 2016 Australian tour so keep your eyes peeled for dates!
