About A Slice of Life
Belgian six-piece "A Slice Of Life" mixes elements of post-punk, rock and wave into a melancholic sound with an unmistakable alternative rock twist.
Combining these elements with excellent songwriting they create a varied and often catchy collection of song. The perfect framework for vocalist Dirk Vreys’ distinctive, recognizable voice and his authentic, emotional lyrics.
All this results into an energetic live band as well. So far they played both in smaller clubs as on bigger festivals like W-Festival, Gothic Treffen Leipzig, Sinner's Day,...
Their debutalbum "Restless" (2018) was acclaimed very well both in national as in international press. In 2022 they release their 2nd album which pushes the band's sound beyond its previous boundaries.
