About Sleepwlkrs
Sometimes it’s hard to say what you mean. Some people find it hard to talk at all. The music Sleepwlkrs makes is a shot at capturing lightning in a bottle. Finding the words to make the unfeeling feel again and unite those who feel apart from the crowd is the mission and accomplishment the band realizes on their most recent effort ‘Halfway Here.’ A collection of songs about the depression, oppression, and frustration that the next generation consistently always experiences. Emotionally charged, arpeggiated guitar lines in cooperation with thoughtful poetry over rhythm that can seem as chaotic as existence and as steady as meditation defines the band’s sound. Pulling at heart strings and inspiring the uninspired, Sleepwlkrs lay their hearts on their sleeves and presents them boldly and honestly. Their upcoming EP will be released on May 12th and the band will be touring steadily from the summer to the end of the year in support of the release. Riding a steady wave of growth since the release of their debut EP ‘Derealization’ in the fall of 2016, the band continues to climb with a DIY ethic and the ability to connect with those who feel most disconnected. Melting brains and drinking beer
