Mournful Winter

Mournful Winter was founded in 2009 as a solo project by Tenebros. He recorded all songs on the 2014 demo and dubbed it on tape on his own. One year later there was also a CD release of that demo released by Black Devastation Records. For following recordings and possible live shows a drummer was searched. Instead of hired guns, Tenebros wanted a full band. So Mournful Winter was changed into a band with lead guitarist Befana and drummer Misärist. Shortly after Haereticus joined the band on the bass guitar. The first live ritual took place in April 2017. While there are many recordings from the solo project times of Mournful Winter that have yet to be finished, the band as a whole is aiming for live gigs and a full length album.
