Liam Parke

Liam Parke is a singer-songwriter from Athens, Georgia and front man for The Celtic Pub Band, “Repent at Leisure”. He spent almost 20 years in organized baseball as a College Summer Baseball Head Coach and Team General Manager of the Athens Pirates College Summer Baseball Club LLC. He also served as President and League Commissioner for the Great South League LLC in the mid 90’s to 2012. Prior to baseball, Parke was a practicing fee-only (no product sales) “Certified Financial Planner” (CFP) for 15 years with Park Financial Group LTD of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Originally a song writer with Solid Hitbound Productions in the 1960’s and early 70’s (Detroit subsidiary of Jobette) he gravitated to film as an Independent Film Producer/Writer from 1980 to the present with his companies Park Film Group LTD and First Cousins Film Company LLC. A new film, “Black Beat”, is currently in pre-production.
Parke returned to performing music in 2014 after 45 year hiatus. He resumed his music career playing "Spoons" at the Athens Irish Music Session ultimately joining "Repent at Leisure" as lead vocalist, banjo, guitar, songwriter, and spoons player.
In addition to performing with his band, Parke enjoys playing solo gigs to promote his own original music as well as a vast repertoire of Irish/Folk/Rock tunes and is part of the duo, "Generations" with band mate Evan Bradford.
