Cutting Agency

Originally the brainchild of Sean Dunnevant, Cutting Agency has emerged as a new pulsating rhythm in the Washington, DC music scene. Focusing on dance beats and dark chords, the group tries to bring the transitions and non-stop groove of a DJ to life as a five-piece live band with no looping whatsoever. The group consists of Sean Dunnevant (bass/ vocals), Miles Lieder (drums), Mikey Candela (guitar/vocals), and Brandon Moultrie (EWI/sax). Although Cutting Agency is relatively new to the music scene, the members of the group all share an impressive resume; sharing the stage with Papadosio, Lettuce, Kyle Hollingsworth, Ramsey Lewis, Magic! and many more. The guys have also played many world-renowned venues including the 930 Club, Kennedy Center, Brooklyn Bowl, and many more throughout the United States. Cutting Agency is a dance-funk band from Washington, DC with a darker sound than the EDM that has infiltrated the airwaves in recent years.
