Quiet After Storm

:::ENG::: Quiet After Storm were born when, in 2007, Pearl (DRUMS) and Magic (BASS), decide to turn their musical activity trying to create a band able to blend a powerful wall of sound with an energetic melody; a modern style between crossover, nu-metal and alternative-rock. They choose this name as an iconic italian translation of "the calm after the storm", that symbolizes the particular time the two guys are goin' through. After a difficult graft and change of many members, the band find the balance with the addiction of WhyZ (GUITAR), that with his experience and versatility will play a key role. The first rehearsal is devastating, feeling and groove are at very high levels with a lot of ideas and understanding, thanks also to a good job of electronic programming. The last step is to give voice to all; so is signed on Myca (VOICE), young but talented singer that, as the icing on the cake, puts the right final touch on the band to finally start looking to the future with optimism! :::ITA::: I Quiet After Storm nascono da un'esigenza: Un gruppo che abbia le radici nel melodico e le fronde nel crossover; sonorità graffianti, la tempesta che urla e travolge qualsiasi cosa che incontra ed un pizzico di fresche e morbide gocce di melodico che bagnano quel terreno provato dal tempo. La quiete dopo la tempesta... Questa immagine iconica descrive appieno il momento che Pearl, batterista e fondatore, sta attraversando. Dopo innumerevoli cambi di formazione, la band trova l'equilibrio con il ritorno di Magic al basso, che dopo un periodo di pausa, torna a ricoprire una posizione fondamentale nella band. I due ragazzi incontrano quindi Whyz, chitarrista versatile e d'esperienza in cerca di una band la quale fondesse il ruggito del nu-metal alla carezza di un cantato melodico. La prima prova è devastante, il feeling ed il groove sono ad altissimi livelli, c'è moltissima intesa e le idee sono abbondanti. Non rimane che dare voce al tutto e viene così ingaggiata Myca, giovane ma talentuosa cantante che, come la ciliegina sulla torta, offre al gruppo il giusto tocco finale per cominciare a guardare avanti con seri presupposti.
