The Story Thus Far...

In a world where the radio airwaves are controlled by monopolizing corporations, MTV airs reality programming instead of music videos, and Justin Bieber (somehow) still reigns supreme, a previously foretold prophecy finally was fulfilled... In 2016 a group of elite musicians would travel through space and time to “The Here and Now” and bring some of the greatest songs ever recorded back to the masses. Armed with only some basic musical instruments, astonishing vocal chops, and their good looks, this band of four began the daunting task of re-indoctrinating helpless concert goers throughout the great state of Virginia with heavy doses of 90’s era alternative rock, “beefed up” versions of 80’s new wave classics, and a few songs from other decades thrown in for good measure.

Led by vocalist/guitarist and all-around nice guy, Chad “Maverick” Mosson, The Here and Now have been entertaining and winning back the hearts of music lovers everywhere with their high energy live shows and expansive catalog of songs that ranges anywhere from Richard Marx to Nirvana and Eddie Money to Eve 6. Mission commanders Rick Mudd and George Broyer form the backbone rhythm section on drums and bass guitar respectively, while Ryan “Cold Shot” Colton provides the tasty lead guitar licks needed to breath new life into these sometimes long forgotten gems.

The Here and Now have been fortunate to play at a variety of different venues throughout Central Virginia in the last year and are looking to expand their mission further into the growing college, brewery, and festival circuits as well.
