About Our Saving Republic
We're OSR, a 4-piece punk band from Hamilton, Ontario. Since forming in 2014, our goal has been to make as much noise as possible and have a damn good time doing it.
"We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we definitely take our music seriously," says Jake Arthur, Guitarist/Frontman of Our Saving Republic. "Phil Oddi, (Vocalist/Frontman) has a lot to say, and I'm grateful we get to use our music as a tool for it." After years of posting DIY demos on Soundcloud, their first official single Another Casualty was dropped on Feb 21st, 2020. Another Casualty is a perfect representation of the band's raw sound and raw message. The rhythm section of the track, Zach Krol (Drums) was tracked live off the floor in 2018; "The demos were fun, but they didn't feel like our live shows did. So we took it back to basics, which I think ultimately is what this band is all about."
The single that appears on their debut EP, "Demonstration," is now on all streaming services. We are specifically accepting donations for the EP on Bandcamp, half of the proceeds go to the organization of your choice; True North Aid or Innocence Canada. https://oursavingrepublic.bandcamp.com/album/demonstration-ep
