Nefesh Mountain

Tremendous venue and show! Encore! Encore!

Fabulous restaurant (Harvest on Hudson; try the date and cucumber salad and pizza!) with wonderful views of the Hudson River. The show was moved inside due to a prodigious rain about 5:00 when the decision needed to be made. Unfortunately, this meant a packed and noisy venue. But the actual music was fabulous and got the crowd up dancing. I liked the mixture of familiar tunes, some I hadn’t heard, and confessed new covers. It was worth the drive from Manhattan (I made it into a two-day escape).

Great Nefesh Mountain show. Did they always have a drummer? At times, the drummer drowned out the others vocals. maybe it was just the acoustics at the venue. Come back to So Cal asap!

The concert was awesome. It was so great to hear them in person. I hope they come back here soon. Would love to hear them again.

These folks are seriously talented songwriters, singers and instrumentalists! We really enjoyed watching and listening to them again, and the venue was relaxed and friendly. Drink prices were a bit high but we weren’t there for the drinks anyway.

Venue was nice. Not enough handicapped parking. Nefesh Mountain was excellent. Unfortunately they gave the first half of their show time to Ashton- the opening act. This wasn’t cool. When a crowd comes to watch a particular band. The open act should only be a couple of songs 3-4 max. He played 6-8! That was first half of show. Nefesh Mountain only played after intermission. How is that fair. Crowd was disappointed. At the end you could see Donnie was telling Eric to cut the show short. I felt cheated. I used to enjoy their music. Now I am cold to their stuff. A few Hebrew words were pronounced wrong like Heharim ,which she sang as something like Checharim. There is no Chet in that word(In Esa Eynaim). The mountains he-Harim.

I love this group and enjoyed the concert. But I did not want to listen to 45 minutes of a warm-up guitarist. I saw this group last year in New Jersey and we did not have to listen to this other guy. Please don't do this to us.

Nefesh Mountain was phenomenal! Who would have thought that combining bluegrass and Jewish music would be so amazing? The show was a rousing, uplifting, foot-stomping party for my ears and my soul. I can't wait to see them again!

This show was AWESOME!! Gorgeous setting under majestic old trees. Acoustics were perfect. They sound just as good live as they do on their cds. Their instrumentals blew me away. They are extremely talented and should be on the Grand Ole Opry on a regular basis. This will surely be the first of many of their shows that I will attend in the future.

My goodness.... what an OUTSTANDING show given by Nefesh Mountain in Roanoke, Va., on March 10. Spectacular musicianship by the band, and Doni and Eric augmented everything with their pure, heartfelt vocals. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to enjoy them at a small, intimate venue, and I very much look forward to seeing and hearing them again at the first opportunity.

Outstanding spiritual experience one week after the tragic murder of eleven worshippers at a synagogue in Pittsburgh. These gentle musicians exhibited compassion and grace.

Unbelievable talent! These talented souls are headed nowhere but up. Must see!
