About Neek Bucks
Hailing from Harlem, New York, Neek Bucks is about to elevate his career into the national spotlight. Neek has built his buzz with his most recent mixtape, El Barrio. It is a gritty and pragmatic look inside Neek’s upbringing that includes features from Dave East, Cory Gunz, and Tim Vocals. “The sounds on this mixtape really represent where I’m from,” Neek told XXL of the project. “I just want the world to see how diverse my music really is.”
His authentic, gritty, and insightful lyrics caught the attention of The Diplomats’ very own, Jim Jones as well as Kevin Gates. Both Jim Jones and Kevin Gates made appearances on Here For A Reason II in 2015. Since then, Neek has continued to capitalize on the hype he’s received from El Barrio. His new single, “Ain’t No Fun” is a summertime anthem, paying homage to the Snoop Dogg song of the same name. Neek has also premiered his short film “Streets is Watching” via Billboard. This highly anticipated remake of Jay Z’s 1998 classic was produced by the legendary duo Trackmasters, and has received strong support from Ebro and Dame Dash.
