About Bexie James
Bexie gained experience as the Vocalist for UK Metal band, Chemikill, she joined in November 2013 and fronted the band at venues across the UK. Bexie was heavily involved in writing the album "Resurrection" which she recorded at Arkham Recording Studios, Birmingham. Unfortunately Bexie had no alternative but to part ways with Chemikill in October 2014 and the album remains unreleased. Bexie teamed up with hard rock band "Khaos Theory" in November 2014 and released a demo "Thorns of Black" in January 2015, which was well received and continues to have air play. Bexie performed with Khaos Theory at venues in and around the West Midlands. In May 2015, Bexie appeared as a guest singer with UK Symphonic band "Winter in Eden" at the fifth edition of "The Dames of Darkness" which took place over two days on 9th-10th May 2015 at the Robin 2 venue in Bilston, West Midlands (UK.) Bexie worked closely with UK dark melodic metal band "Winter Storm" UK as their stand by vocalist and performed with the band at Bloodstock 2015. Bexie is currently looking for a new project or band. Contact via message or email. Live Reviews:- Bloodstock - August 2015 "...Bexie lends her lungs to the climatic ‘Firedancer’, and delivers a performance which is note-perfect and full of energy. [BC]" - One Metal Dames of Darkness - May 2015 “…Bexie performed with passion and total commitment. It was the most exciting & stunning part of the entire two days — a truly unforgettable experience.” - METAL AS RELIGION (Neil Mach) “…These wonderfully talented ladies had almost no time to rehearse but they still came out and did it with confidence and panache. (All under the watchful & caring eye of David Homer.) This surprise set was probably the most exciting and visually/vocally stunning part of the festival. A truly unforgettable experience.” RAMzine. "Bexie James opened with the band, bringing a sweet subtle performance, pleasant to the ear" - Get Your Rock Out. Robin 2 - with Ex Libris and The Mariana Hollow - 2014 "Bex is in place slotting seamlessly in, and the new tracks sounding excellent. More please a lengthy and entertaining set." - Maximum Volume Reviews. "Bexie has brought a new dynamic to the band. An impressive performance... which indicated so much more good stuff to come" - Firebrand Magazine. "The band had so much chemistry from the off it was beautiful to see, and they really got the crowd going with the audience enthusiastically chanting along. The addition of Bexie was clearly a good thing and the new material sounds brilliant... I really enjoyed Bexie’s vocals and the way she carries her notes across the songs (8/10)" - Muses of Metal. Rock/metal vocalist.
