About One Giant Causeway

One Giant Causeway, are an exciting new 5 piece Indie Rock band. The Bridgefordians recently released their Wired EP and new single "Alright" which gotten AirPlay on BBC Radio Nottingham and on many independent radio stations in the US and U.K. "They have definitely carved their own sound into the Notts Indie Rock scene". - Alice Robbins - Nottingham Post

Their previous EP “Smoking Cardboard” had great reviews and got BBC Radio 6 AirPlay with “Moving”. In Summer 2016 they made an impressive debut performance on the BBC Introducing stage at Rough Trade Records. BBC Introducing invited them to open at the Hockley Hustle which featured acts like Nina Smith, Liam Bailey and headlined by recently signed Virgin/EMI Joel Baker. They have been quoted by Dean Jackson (who was instrumental in discovering Jake Bugg and Dog is Dead). Dean quoted live on air ” One Giant Causeway looking like a band that will be signed by a major label in 2 years”.
After their headline EP release show at the bodega they were approached by DHP and recently supported newly signed RCA band RedFaces at the Bodega 31/01/17. Shortly after, They became the FIRST band ever to play Dean Jacksons BBC Faction Event at Rough Trade twice. They then went on to Grace the stage at Nottinghams most prestigious venue ROCK CITY.

The fellow OGC lads have been one of few bands selected for YNOT festival by the BBC, catch them on the 2nd stage which is the Quarry on July 27th
