That’s My Truck—the Fusion of Rock and Virtuosity, where the rubber meets the rock and roll road! Those of you that have already seen these boys play don’t need any convincing. If you haven’t, then you are in for one helluva ride. KIM SHOMAKER—Lead Guitar and Vocals. Kim has been playing guitar since 1962, and has traveled the east coast with several bands, including the likes of Doctor Doctor, The Spinns and his own project The Shomaker Band. Kim has also done multiple studio sessions with various artists. He opened a pro guitar shop in 1987. Kim is one of the best, if not the most revered, players to come out of this area—a true master of all of the possibilities of the Strat. He must be seen to be believed. Jeff Reynolds—Bass and Vocals. Like Kim, Jeff is an institution in these parts, and his prowess on bass has been noted far and wide, from his standout performance as the bassist for the #1 Heart tribute band in the country, Heart Brigade, to recognition as Artist of the Month by Schroeder Cabinets, the premier boutique bass cabinet builder. Jeff’s heavy but acrobatic playing reminds those in the know of some of the blues and hard-rock greats, like Pat Traver’s inimitable sideman, “Mars” Cowling. And, when Jeff gets going, he is part of the best rhythm section in the land, laying down the groove with… TIM CAREY – Drums and Vocals. Tim has been a local “favorite” drummer since 1969, and has played steady since. He has performed in many projects with Kim Shomaker over a thirty year span and combines Moon’s mania with Bonham’s power and Cobham’s control. Tim is solid as a rock and completes the rhythm section, with style and class. On top of that, Tim is the lead singer of the Truck, and can do it all, from blues to rock, and everything in between. Words can only say so much. The only way to fully appreciate these guys is to hop in your car (or truck) and see them live. That’s My Truck—Where the Rubber Meets the Rock and Roll Road!
