Samael's Fall

The band was born in 2008 when Alessandro Bruseghin (vocals, guitars) and Elia Levorato (guitars) met, together they decided to write some Thrash-Death Metal stuff. After a brief search for other members, they found in Pietro Dal Corso (bass, vocals) and Otis Tovani (drums) the right guys to play with and so they started playing together with some very good responses coming from the public and the winning of some music contests. Meanwhile the style of their music changed into a much more articulated and modern one, but preserving the Thrash-Death roots and melting them together with some Hard Rock, which was and still is a big passion of the band's members. They started gigging around and in 2010 they produced their first 6-track EP, called "Bang Your Head". The song "Bang Your Head" will be later used as the soundtrack of the WoM Festival trailer, which is a metal festival that takes place every year in Padua. You can also find the same song in the WoM Records compilation, called "Eons Of Revolution Vol. 2". Unsatisfied with the sound-quality of their first EP, in the late 2010, the band re-recorded the tracks in their own rehearsal room, gaining a "in-your-face" recording, much more direct and live-sounding. In 2011, Otis, the drummer, decided to leave the band to follow his own projects. Marco Rizzo (who played with Brainless, historical Italian Thrash metal band) was chosen after some auditions. After about 50 gigs, in 2012 the band had the opportunity to be the support band of Bologna Violenta & Napalm Death’s local concert, after winning a musical contest. In the summer of 2012 the band finally started the recordings for their first album, called Till Now, a mix of Thrash, Death and some Rock stuff, will be out in February, 2013.
