Fear not that Carnival Of Futility have any delusions of semi-competence. We believe we have achieved world-class recognition for ineptitude...and we continue to stand on those laurels. What the press would probably say if we could be arsed sending them something... Formed back in 2014 Carnival Of Futility has a magical mix of heart, power, maturity and soul coupled with the ability to hold an audience that escapes some of their more pretentious contemporaries. It's a reflection of their skills and unique sound, and the plethora of irresistibly baited hooks apparent in their material that makes their music so unique. There is also an undercurrent of dark humor in their work that keeps the heady mixture from becoming too rich for the blood. They are clearly at home on the stage also, and rarely have I witnessed such prodigious manifestations of infectious energy from an audience than at one of their gigs; fuelled by a repertoire of slick, catchy and incredibly powerful songs. But be advised; this is definitely NOT pre-packaged, glittery, post-pubescent ear candy - it's intelligent, thoughtful, consummately crafted music that will take its rightful place amongst the greats of any discerning record collection We are a burlesque punk band out of Los Angeles.
