About The Square Root of Evil
Jen (aka the Square Root of Evil) grew up in a household surrounded by music. As a result, she became rather obsessed with it, and dabbled with various instruments before discovering electronic music and signal processing while at university. Financially and spacially restricted, she soon turned to software and laptops, and has been making music in this manner since 1999. Her music has elements of drum n bass, breakcore, techno and glitch, with bleeps and bloops from old video games thrown into the mix, usually in the form of a silly melody or 3.
