Ike Spivak

Ike Spivak is a saxophonist, composer, and educator living in Denver, Colorado. For almost a decade, Ike has been writing and performing music as a band leader as well as a sideman. Performances of note include the Telluride Jazz Festival, the Niwot Jazz Festival, and the Jazz Education Network conference in New Orleans.
At the age of 17, Ike recorded his first album of original music. Drawing influence from contemporary artists all over the world, his music blends funk, jazz, fusion, hip-hop, latin, rock, and other idioms.
In addition to performing and writing music, Ike is an active educator. Piano and saxophone students are able to develop their musical skills under his guidance.
Ike is pursuing an undergraduate degree in jazz and commercial music from the Lamont School of Music at University of Denver.
