SHORT BIO
Charly is a Rock singer/songwriter. He can play guitar, bass and drums. Sings in Spanish, English and French.

Born in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1964. Canadian Citizen since 1997.
Recorded 4 albums in Uruguay with Alvacast, 1 album with “Tears For The Dead Gods” in Canada and 1 solo album produced in 2011.
Charly toured South America from 1987 to 1991. In 1992, he moved with Alvacast to Montreal, Canada and toured part of the country. The band split up in 1994 and Charly started touring Canada and the U.S East Coast until 2005 with different bands. In 2005 recorded a CD with “Tears for the Dead Gods”, and he opened for Belladonna, singer of Anthrax.
In 2006 Charly started touring also in Central America, mainly Costa Rica and Panama.
In 2011 recorded a solo CD called “A Glass of Wine” in Spanish and English.
In 2013 Charly toured in Canada with The Electric Storm, being the highlight of the tour, two nights where The Electric Storm opened for Trooper in Drayton Valley Omniplex Arena and at the Barrhead Arena.
That year Charly played a friendly set with Canadian folk legend Valdi. In Edmonton, Charly won the contest to play at the prestigious Boonstock Music & Arts Festival where Slash from Guns’n’Roses and Sebastian Back from Skid Row played as well. Charly played an acoustic set on the Axe Music Stage.

He worked with famous musician Ronnie King from California in the production of 1 song called “Until the End of Time”.
Charly shared stages with many Canadian artists like Trooper, John McGale, Paul James, Chuck Jackson, Valdi, Donnie Walsh, SAB.
In 2014, Charly toured in Canada, Costa Rica and Uruguay. The 2014 tour took him to Edmonton, Montreal, Toronto, Montevideo and Guanacaste.
