Music was amazing, an seats were great. Audio was good, but not great. Doesn’t feel like the venue can handle any low frequencies at all, it was pretty much just all top and mid.

I've seen Mew with symphony orchestra before in Copenhagen. It was good but felt as if the orchestra invited Mew, while this time it was the other way around. Great harmonies from the guys in the band, very good arrangements of the songs and great to hear them play songs also from 'Visuals' and '+/-'

For a long time Mew has been a contender for my all time favorite band. It was a hard fight between them and two others, but after seeing multiple shows by all three of my top bands I have to say that Mew will go down for me as my all time favorite band. There is nothing like being immersed in one of their shows. They aren't flashy, but between the stunning visuals that they create themselves and the masterful playing of every song (so much so that they sound twice as good as anything on the records) nobody is more innovative with their performance. They always play a long set and for me experiencing it is like a spiritual encounter. This show was particularly profound because they played all of Frengers for the. 20th anniversary. I never thought I'd see Louis Louisa live and this show validated years of being obsessed with this band.

About Mew

Mew frontman Jonas Bjerre has worked on the projections for the band’s live shows since their early days. Usually, the Danish trio finish an album and Bjerre gets to work on the visuals. For their seventh record, though, the singer decided to turn things upside down, working on the visuals first and seeing if they informed the music. The resultant record feels like a culmination for one of rock’s most ambitious and inventive groups: Visuals is where Bjerre and his bandmates, bassist Johan Wohlert and drummer Silas Utke Graae Jørgensen, join the dots of a career that has spanned over two decades. “We do everything on this album ourselves,” says Bjerre. “We produced it ourselves, I did the artwork, I’m doing the visuals. Visuals felt like a fitting title. I like the idea that each song has a visual aspect to it somehow.”
