About McBain
Sean McBain is a Songwriter Singer and Producer from Aberdeen in Scotland.
Having began creating music as bassist in Aberdeen Grunge rockers Stranded, Sean moved to Neilston in Glasgow where he began writing and performing as a solo act and as 1 third of Electro Rock trio Stray Saints.
Going by his surname McBain he attracted attention in 2017 when he completed a staggering Songwriting Marathon in Aid of Teenage Cancer Trust where he wrote, performed, recorded and produced a new original song every week for an entire year. 52 songs and £6000 later he took several of those songs and released his debut album Oranges & Angels in the Spring of 2018.
McBain is currently working on an immediate follow up project to Oranges & Angels which will be his first forray into his dream of compiling multi format art. This being a combination of Literature, Music and Poetry in a concept album with novel and lyrics.
