B Forrest Music

Brendan "B" FORREST is an award-winning singer-songwriter / guitarist, producer, from Chicago. After receiving a B.A. in Music from NPU, he spent time traveling the globe while refining his calling card LP Back to Bodhi. After returning to his home-town he was awarded a City Of Chicago Individual Artist Grant in 2017, and again in 2019 (a National Endowment for the Arts). He is a 2020 John Lennon Songwriting Competition Grand Prize Winner. His genre-defying style has evolved from his extensive life experiences, all the while there remains a thread of roots-soul in his playing and writing, no matter the vast idioms he poetically melds together.
