Just Seconds Apart

Just Seconds Apart is made up of Sela (drums), Ari (guitar), and Alex (keyboards/bass), 25-year-old triplets from Arizona. Like three threads weaving a tapestry, the trio creates a harmonious blend of singer-songwriter and folk-pop with soulful storytelling. They craft emotional narratives through their natural division of labor: Sela's poetic lyricism flanked by Ari and Alex's melodic landscapes, with their familial harmonies at the root of it all.

Riva, the band's grandmother, bought them their first instruments for their eighth birthday. As an art dealer and gallery owner, Riva was known for her discerning eye and spiritual intuition stating, "If it feels good, it is good." Just Seconds Apart calls upon these words during their creative process, influenced by their minimalistic and authentic nature. The trio approaches life with the wisdom of old souls and unbridled joy of eternal youth. Whether processing grief through music or cherishing a late-night cuddle with their pups, they demonstrate that healing and happiness aren’t opposing forces – they’re dance partners in the same song.
