Waysted Youth is raw and edgy band out of Tucson, Arizona with a modern yet eclectic sound. Forming in early 2015, Waysted Youth features Angel Grijalva, and IzzI Rodrigues handling their signature style of dual guitars and vocals. Covering the low end and creating the depth within the music, Ash Rose on bass. Finally, completing the lineup, and creating the backbone, Marcelis Mars on drums and backup vocals. Waysted Youth writes and performs passionate songs that come from a REAL place, drawing emotion from every pore. Waysted Youth is a band hungry to prove themselves, and always seeks opportunity. Having played prestigious clubs such as the Whiskey a Go Go, and The Rialto Theater, as well as many sweaty clubs and dive bars from Los Angeles to Austin, Waysted Youth has opened up for bands Agent Orange, Otep, Sick Puppies, and more.. Helping to create and develop a well rounded stage and studio band. At the start of 2017, Waysted Youth joined forces with Rock Avenue Records out of Los Angeles California. With the help of world famous engineer Brian Scheuble, and Rarefield Studios, out of San Diego, they will be releasing Waysted Youth’s first full length album “Dear Diary” to be released June of 2017.
