Megan Barker

Megan Barker is an accomplished singer and songwriter from Nashville, TN by way of Las Vegas, NV. Born into the music industry, her father, Bobby P. Barker, wrote songs for country legends such as Ronnie Milsap and Barbara Mandrell. Her mother, Barbara Smith-Barker was also an artist and session singer. Megan spent her childhood in studios and writing sessions where she learned at an early age how to craft a lyrical narrative.

At 13 years old, inspired by pop legend John Mayer, Megan picked up a guitar and never put it down. She started her career singing at local Las Vegas venues where her unique, prolific songwriting and contagious melodies helped her to work her way up to playing bigger venues including First Friday, House of Blues, the Hard Rock Café, and more. In addition to local radio, TV and Internet broadcasts, Megan has had the privilege of opening concerts for great country acts such as Montgomery Gentry, Lee Brice, Eli Young Band, and more.


Working with award winning talents in both Las Vegas and Nashville, Megan's songs draw a diverse demographic audience from young children to mature adults. Her fan base currently includes tens of thousands of followers across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. When asked about the diverse range of her fans ages she says, "There is nothing I love more than moving people with a song. The fact that little kids and grown adults come up and praise my songwriting after a show is amazing to me. That's enough to keep me going forever. I'm honored."
