OMMADON

Ommadon is a 4-piece technical death metal band from the Central part of the U.S. in Edmond, Oklahoma. Brought about it mid-2009, this band brings together a wide variety of musical background to form a very heavy, fist-pumping, head-banging sensation that has wreaked havoc at all the venues to which this band has become known. Ommadon comprises: Carlos Carmona on Lead vocals, Guitarist Richard Dobie, Bassist and Backup vocalist Paul Kernen and Drummer Zain Smith (also of "Anti-Mortem"). This wide variety of backgrounds comprises mostly of old-school metal, punk, black metal, new-metal and heavy rock stretching from influences from such bands as: Rancid to ones of Pantera, Gorgoroth of Norway to Disturbed, Metallica to the sensational Children of Bodom , Job For A Cowboy, The Black Dahlia Murder, Lamb of God, Cradle of Filth, Veil of Maya, Within the Ruins, Beneath the Massacre, Suicide Silence, Whitechapel and all the way back to Mars Volta and AFI. They released 1 self-titled E.P. in November 2009 and are due to release their debut full-length album “As We Witness Undeath” in mid-2012. Renowned Artist, Producer, and Engineer Dustin "Provo" Provenzano will be recording this album at Pirated Sounds Studios in Norman, Oklahoma. Along with Provo will be Award-winning Pete Rutcho and James Murphy working on the mixing/editing and mastering of this amazing album! When this band plays the audiences have no choice but to jump on board and go insane with the band; following their complicated guitar riffs, extravagant bass-lines, fast-paced drumming and terminological vocals which pays tribute to the intense and non-stop fierceness shown in every performance.
